Hit the lake yesterday after the rain for the first time this year. Arrived around 10:30 and left at 2:30. Had the lake to myself. Was very impressed with the quality of fish this year!! Caught around 40 and kept 28 nice ones. Water temp was 53 to 54. Long line trolling jigs...blue/chart and pink/chart worked best for me. Only going to get better.

Looking forward to a trip with Louie Bartenfield on Carter's Lake on April 4th. Magnum Spot time!!! Retirement gift from my wife!!!!!
God's blessings!!!

Thanks! Really looking forward to the trip with Louie. Have heard nothing but Great things about Louie. Originally planned for my two sons to go on the trip, but one lives in Orlando, Fl and couldn't make it. My wife stepped up and took his seat.
