Allatoona-north end of lake

I'm on Allatoona frequently, mostly put in at Kellogg Creek. I read the post and reports regular. If I look at a map, I'd consider Allatoona an "east /west lake....meaning it spreads out from eat to west. Plenty of the reports say the bite is on the "north end" of the lake. Back to looking at map....I really can't clearly pick out the norh end.

What would you consider the north end of Allatoona?

The closer you get to Knox Bridge, the further North you are.

So, going north from the dam.....is that "north"?

From the dam, North is north but generally people refer to the N end of the lake East, then North so you end up exactly what BoosterC showed on the map.
