Allatoona Stripe

Have to introduce my buddy TommyGunn17 to the forum! Fought a nice Stripe on the boat!! 24# on the scale. Not the best clearest pic because it was night and I had my LED's on. We were trying to be quick to release too!!

That is a long one has a NICE GUT. Hard to tell in that photo but I would have guessed more than that as well as that fish is thick... Congrats on a great fish from anywhere, and definitely a trophy from Toona.

This was my first stripe. It was a blast, fighting it on 12lb line.

Now I have to paint the picture. Rod tip hit water and spun rod holder. I knew it was a decent fish. Drag was peeling. T grabbed and was reelin for his life. Line still going out. I told him it was only 12# line. Ease up. Reeling and still no gain and drag was on hate! Finally started to chase it with trolling motor. T though he was on Wicked Tuna at this point. About 15 mins later it was in boat. We snapped a quick pic and it was like dominoes. Hour to set up and 10 Secs to see it knock down. Welcome bro!
