Allatoona Striper Tips

Good Morning All,

I am going to try Allatoona Striper Sunday Morning. I have not done any winter striper fishing in a few years, so I'm looking for tips. I know downlines with live bait + umbrella rigs are likely to a good bet. Any tips on general location or depths? Will the hump near Atlanta Yacht club be a good bet or should I look closer to the dam? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Not sure if it helps you on Allatoona but I fished Lanier for a few hours this morning. Caught one on a freeline about 70 ft. behind the boat and three around 30 ft. down in water 60 ft. deep

I been catching several hybirds on spoons each trip. Im sure there are strips mixed in with the hybrids. Watch your graph closely and drop when you see them.

What I read yesterday was that it’s good from Bartow Carver all the way up to Kellog Creek and where are you mark bait you will find Striper. And the Baits and lures that you were talking about squared with what they said.
