A good friend and his wife are headed down next weekend (Sept 11) for a few well deserved days away from work. Any tips for inshore or updates on red tide? That is further south than I go so I am clueless. Thanks for any advice.

No info on guides. But plenty of wading options in the icw. Manatee blvd has access and if you hit the sand potholes w shrimp h East plenty of trout and maybe reds. The beach should be decent, Spanish could be showing, use greenbacks. Sans fleas for whiting and maybe some pomp’s Usually when I fish the beach it’s still a couple of weeks until things get crazy. Still chances tough on the beach for snook in the swah channels
