As usual it was a season of ups and downs but it’s in the books now for me. I made it a point to try and shoot only drake woodies this year and did a decent job better than usual mainly because I took the time to try and pick them out. I really need to work on identifying the difference between Canada geese....LOL My go to with them is just to shoot the biggest one.
I don’t usually post tailgate pics but I’m really proud of Oolie my yellow dog. One of the pictured Woodies that I thought had hit the water was actually hung up in some brush along the edge of the swamp and after sending her after it three times the third time she ignored me and went on shore and pointed out the error of my ways. Good dog Oolie you make me proud.
