How do you keep ants out of your feeders? I don't want to poison the deer.

Throw some grits on the ground and the ants will eat and go for water and blow up

Put grease on the legs,that will be as far as they will go!Lard or Crisco works really good.A narrow band around each leg that touches the ground will do it.A little on the string that holds your hummingbird feeder will keep them out of it too.Let us know if it works.
