It'd run great on my 14.5". And run it as a red dot. Hopefully street price will be a tad under 2.

I was thinking how it would work on an AR-10....normal hunting scope on top....then one of these mounted on a 45* angled mount.

That's what I'm doing on my AR-10 with 4-16 topside & a red dot (Holosun 507) on a 45*. My setup was more for close in stuff that may come up quick....but I'm mega-ignorant on thermal gear. Not sure if it would work in such a way...being quickly rolled over to horizontal position and give an immediate sight image.

Saw briefly on one site. Curious what the effective ranges will be on this. 100-200y would be interesting … more / better.

I did see something in the last where folks were using one of those Seek thermal devices for a scope. not sure how that worked. This does look similar, in general terms
