April 11th on Carters with First Bite - Record tying Crappie

My buddy Mike and I spent Saturday on Carters with Robert Eidson. It was a day of personal bests and great laughs with Robert for sure. First time I've been to Carters in 32 years, and I will definitely be back. Mike got his personal best hybrid at 9.25 lbs and I got a black crappie that was spawned out but still matched the lake record at 2.1 lbs on certified scales. The funny part of catching this crappie was that it hit a planer board with a large threadfin shad on it as we were pulling for stripers.

Thanks again Robert for one heck of day out and fun times!!
