AZ Gambel's ....

Headed to AZ last Friday & Saturday to chase some Gambel's in the desert, most challenging bird I have ever hunted by far. Walked 10.3 miles Friday & 12 miles on Saturday, soft sand or hard rocks all the way, plus a ton of cactus, thorns. Already thinking about how to get back.... like tomorrow.

Thanks AZ Quail Adventures, Spencer, Wonder Pups - Lexi, Jack, Paige, & Rue.

They know how to put on great sunsets/sunrises in AZ.. Even ran across a Lion Hunter & his pack of hounds

Awesome! Have been out there twice. SE Arizona is a magical place. We killed some mearns between javelina hunting. I understand their numbers are in the dumps this year though.

We had planned to do One Day for Gambel's & One day for Mearn's, but I could not justify shooting Mearn's with their population decline this year, plus gives me an excuse to go back next year. Might do New Mexico next year.
