Good buddy of mine in southern Indiana found this on his way home yesterday. Called and DNR came and got it. Said he (juvenile male) was about 250 miles south of their know territory. IMG_1602.jpg

Saw one digging in Wyoming one time. Was gonna sneak up on him and take a picture. Got about 10 yards away and that critter turned on a dime, snarling and came after me. Didn’t take me long to look at a badger!:biggrin3:

I've got a hilarious story about a buddy of mine trying to kill one in a snow bank with a shovel.

Hunting camp material, not suitable for here.

See them in NV when out to visit the in-laws. They are much quicker than their build suggests.
