Bergara B-14 rebarrel

I'm looking for a gunsmith in North Ga that can rebarrel my Bergara to a carbon fiber barrel. The rifle is a B-14 HMR in 300wm with the factory steel barrel.

Seems like they only have a warehouse and logistics in Lawrenceville, but I would love to find out something different.

Worth a phone call. No need to rebarrel my HMR, yet, but since they’re local I’d contact them first.

I emailed Bergara asking about their carbon fiber barrels and if they perform rebarrelling or have a recommendation on gunsmiths. No asnwer yet, if I hear from Beergara I'll post their response.

I never back from Bergara. Looking at Bergara's website, it may be carbon barrels are only available on their new lines of rifles. Not as an stand alone product. Oregon Mountain rifles sells very good carbon barrels for the Bergara and they will do the rebarrel for a charge.

I don’t think so. I think I read something about a concave breech face. Could be wrong.

I think it is a clone action so that should work.

I'm not sure what a concave breech face is, but I think both would require a counter bore for the bolt head

Coned bolt face maybe. There was something I read that made me think a 700 barrel wasn’t a drop in fit.
