Big 8 pointer

A friend of mine and a good neighbor killed a big 8 point friday afternoon with his .50 caliber muzzleloader only a short distance from our homes beside the Croatan Nation Forest. He had been after the big buck for only 3 days but it paid off. My neighbor was in his stand about 4pm friday when he said a Doe came out followed by a spike. He said he started to shoot the spike but thought better of it. He told me he is glad he waited, a few minutes later out came big daddy and ran the small buck off. My neighbor is having the big deer shoulder mounted as this was his first big buck ever. Wish I had pictures but I don't and can't post them anyway. I had just wished him good luck with harvesting the biggun the day before.

I can get my neighbor to send me the photograph of his prize kill from his cell phone. Somehow some way I will try to post a picture of his kill. I will need help in doing so. I am dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to this PC.
