Black birds grouping up

Drove passed a field of unwanted watermelons today. Had a flock of black birds, cow birds I believe, rise up as I drove past, 50 birds or so. Seems kinda early for them to be grouping but the season is moving along.

I've been noticing the same thing the last couple of weeks. Thought it was a might early myself.

I’ve been seeing it too. It is way early and I haven’t seen this many blackbirds since I was a kid.

Many of the Boat Tail Grackles have moved on from our area. I'm glad they have they raid my bird feeders every day...
