Bluelining 101:
How to discover and enjoy great fishing far from the beaten path

Bluelining -- the art and science of finding and fishing small streams -- is one of my favorite aspects of fly fishing. It gets its name because many of the streams are best known only as "blue lines" on topo maps, but for those who take time to find and explore them, the rewards can be great.
This program will teach you how to identify and locate potential blueline streams and how to do preliminary stream evaluations using topographic data. You'll also learn strategies for accessing the streams and how to fish them once you find them. We'll even talk about gear and tactics for bluelining, and once we're done you'll be set to explore this fascinating facet of the fly fishing world!

I hope to see you Thursday, June 23, as we explore the world of bluelining!
