Yea, they started out at $7.00 a pound which is crazy high.

All meat prices are increasing. Saw a report a few days ago that said beef is up over 16% YTD and pork is 11%, chicken about 6%. I am guessing due to heat and drought in west and mid west + Biden. Keep your eyes out for any deals; not thinking there will be any for a while.

Typical Publix... advertising a BOGO to attract shoppers and only to sell it at a price that's nothing special.
If you have a Costco near you, you really should check them out. I don't think their pork tenders have been priced above $2.49 all summer. I have snagged them in the fall/winter months when the market is down for $1.89. That's when I'll load the freezer up.

this is what it's all about !!
slow smoked for over an hour until 145°F-IT.
one dry seasoned with McC Montreal Chicken the other plain.
sort of his/hers, both basted during last 15 min.
basted with SBR Hawaiian & pineapple juice mixed 1:1
both medallions were juicy, tender, and tasty.
