I know that in my flesh dwelleth no good thing
The part that is of Adam is always tempting me
It wars against the Spirit the earnest of His Love
The part of me thats Born of God from above
But I have within me that which is Born of God
Its power overwhelming, His love which I speak of
The One who died for me on the Cross of Calvary
Who took away my sin and its guilt it brought on me
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ my Lord
Has freed me from the judgement of sin and scorn
For He took my judgement, dying in my place
Now no condemnation, for all who trust His Grace
He lives for me forever my Saviour Lord Divine
God raised him from the dead with us at his side
For His death was ours, His resurrection too
To walk in the Spirit is to live as God sees you
In Christ we are complete, He is our all and all
Excepted in the beloved, by Grace from God above
The flesh is born of Adam, his works of no avail
Those Born of the Spirit, by Power of God prevail
It's all by Faith of hearing, that Christ died for our sins
God raised him from the dead, eternally he lives
The Spirit placing us in his finished work of Grace
We're now Sons of God, Born by Grace through Faith
