Got drawn for elk in Montana. Has anybody ever hunted there. Did you hunt with an outfitter or a DIY? Just looking for some guidance from someone that has done it. Thanks

I’ve DIY OTC in Colorado. Montana should have a higher success rate.

depend on the area yer hunting. Bring some walkin shoes cause you goina need to git pretty fer off the road to kill anything. locals git em prety skeered
