Browning Light 20 not ejecting

My Dads old rabbit hunting shotgun - it’s never ejected low brass shells. And it has always been hit and miss with ejecting high brass. I’ve cleaned it but it doesn’t help long. Seems it’s always had this issue but I’d like to permanently fix it. Any suggestions on who (preferred Gunsmith) please pm me and I can get the gun to them.

There is rings on top of Spring u take out. Also if u grease up the spring with axel grease it will help.

Mine still has the diagram under the forehand stock for the rings

Another cause for jamming in an A5 is if the barrel has not been fully pushed into the receiver before tightening the end cap.

FWIW, my A5 has never hiccupped with the friction collar set for heavy per diagram, even with standard field loads.

Yep, and overtightening that cap will casue a jam too....back off a click or 2.....
