Burton Last Sunday

Lake is full after all of the rain and flooding recently. Water temps were 52 degrees by lunch time. Caught 5 on dropshot around docks again. Did catch a 4.55 spot tho! The rest were dinks. That lake has been stingy for me the last few trips. Hoping to figure it out soon again!

where do you mainly fish? Burton can be a beast if your not used to the clear deep water.

Cant complain about 4.5 spot. bet that pulled good on a drop shot rod.

Years ago, i lived in franklin for a bit. Fished Burton all the time. Nowadays, i spend most of my time on Hartwell, Greenwood and Murray. I still like to hit Burton occassionally. Just been awhile since i had a chance to get over there from Hendersonville.
