I put the Yak in at BBB yesterday for a few hours of fishing. Fished the flooded grass at and near high tide with one nice slot red and a keeper trout. As the tide dropped I moved into the river and put another nice 17" trout in the box. Beautiful day on the water and fish tocos tonight. Scouted some areas at low tide to try next trip. All fish were caught on VUDU and DOA shrimp.

Is a majority of trout still non keeper there?

I only caught a couple of shorts. Both keepers were solid, no need to measure. I still have more confidence in live bait, but it was not available. I have enjoyed the convenience and fun of fishing artificials.
