Butter bean ?

Anyone ever tried this running variety , I forgot the name of them but man are they producing , none ready yet but they are loaded .FD449781-5206-45A1-B51A-EE653A00A725.jpeg

Yes ....I had six rows about 50' long ....four green and two colored ....filled a freezer up off them ...made until the frost killed them ...

AND you don't have been over to pick them!!!

I really don't remember the variety .... the local feed and seed place has all kind of seed ....my Dad had planted some before .... he made up aluminum post(kinda like 4" irrigation pipe) with holes in them . ...one strand clothes line about eye level (5') another about 3' high ... I used Brown sisal twine for droppers to get vine running up.. don't take long for them to cover the wires...

Both green & colored made a whole pile of beans ....

I may just plant some more this week ....plenty of time to make here in SGA.

The green may be Carolina Sieva
