Butterbean beach Friday-Surprise visit

Dropped the Yak in at low tide at BBB. Bought shrimp and most were dead shortly after. Mostly fished in grass beds on the incoming tide until high. The water was very clear. Ended up with 3 trout in about 5 hours of paddling. Two fish were on a white w/ chart tail gulp shrimp. One on live shrimp. Had a manatee check me and my Yak out directly across from the landing. He poked his head up in a grass bed to take a look. A few minutes later he came closer and went right under the Yak out to deeper water. Very cool. It was a very young manatee.
