You've probably never seen this before. ....Scott Lindsey of the Alaska-Pacific River Forecast Center watched some Caribou move down the Upper Yukon River yesterday on an ice sheet.

Meanwhile, minor flooding of low-land areas is being reported, but so far, this is not a repeat of 2013's catastrophic breakup flooding

The first river watch team arrived in Eagle Monday, April 28, 2014 and witnessed some last minute river crossings.

A total of three river watch teams will be deployed to the Upper Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers by the end of the week.
