Central Texas Rio Hunt

Looking for recommendations for a Rio hunt in Central Texas. Want to hunt private ground with a lot of birds. Does anyone have a ranch that they have hunted that they would go back too. Would be for 4 guns. I’m the only one with experience so would need guides. Thanks Herman

NOT REAL OUTFITTERS!

Wasted around $2k believing the 50+ "google reviews". We were fed stoffers lasagna, fried chicken and one other sub-par meal.

We heard/saw zero toms or jakes. Sat in premade blinds covered in feathers next to feeders where other hunters killed the birds before we got there.

From now on I am doing exactly what you are doing and seeking reviews from people that have actually been there.

Went several years a go. The outfitter is no longer in business. We were to hunt in Bracketville TX. Well we meet the outfitter there an then drove another hour to the middle of no where. No cell service! We stayed in a nice cabin with electric and water overlooking a fantastic river. The food had a lot to desire. The hunting was great 6 people scored out of 8 of us.

Whatever outfitter you choose be sure to ask lots of questions! Food, lodging, location you will be hunting....
