The Apostle John said we can have Christ-confidence on judgement day without fearing any kind of punishment from God, because as Jesus Christ is, so are we “IN THIS WORLD”!
This is incredible as it details the great “already is-ness” of who we are at the core, in relation to our Lord Jesus Christ! What we often fail to realize (as a lack of right teaching, which leads to wrong believing) is that our being conformed to His image is an inside working, not an outward conformity!
The co-heirs with Christ Jesus that Paul speaks of in Romans, is confirmed by the only Apostle to die of natural causes ... John.
John the beloved reassures us of God’s truth as we continue to live in a world growing darker by the second. If you’re a born-again believer and you yet fear going before the Lord on Judgment day it is only because you don’t know how perfectly you are LOVED RIGHT NOW IN THE MOMENT (1 John 4:16-19)!
