Christ Jesus Died for Sinners

Gone but not forgotten.
Christ Jesus died for sinners, The Gospel is proclaimed.
He died for the ungodly, all sinners gone astray.

You first must be a sinner, in order to be saved.
If you're not a sinner, do you need Christ to save?

Are you good enough, to enter Heaven's gates?
To stand in God's presence, no sin to stain your way?

There is nothing hid, from the eyes of God.
He knows your every deed, He knows your every thought.

You therefore must be perfect, so will you measure up?
To His perfect Son, Who died upon the cross?

Who God made our sin, Who died in our place,
To give eternal life, to all that trust His Grace?

Who God raised from dead, alive at God's right hand.
Who makes intercession, for those who trust in Him?

Christ Jesus died for sinners, You need Him don't you see.
If God see's you in Christ, you're saved eternally.

1 Timothy 1:15,16 "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting"

Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."

Romans 5:6-10 "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Titus 3:5-7 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he (GOD) hath made him (CHRIST) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

Romans 8:34 "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

Ephesians 1:6 "To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."
