Columbia SC Trout Stream

I’m heading up to the Columbia SC area for a work trip in a few weeks and want to try to get a trout or two in the Columbia area. (Any thing is better than nothing!) Does anyone know of any public access areas that I can walk through and maybe find a trout or two?
I am new to fly fishing (caught one trout and a few bream). So any tips/help would be appreciated!

Saluda River

I lived in Columbia back in 2012 and 2013. Saluda Shoals Park near Irmo parallels the river and has some access points. I don't remember wading there but you can walk a descent length of the river. I'm sure there are other access points closer to downtown, although not sure how far below the dam the trout run. Either way Columbia is a great place!
