There's a lot vying for our attention lately. It seems like many want us to be fearful. In fact, anxiety, worry, and fear may be swirling around in some of us right now.
Here's the good news.
God has not given us a spirit of fear. He gave us a Spirit of power, of love, and of soundness of mind.
Because the Holy Spirit lives in us, we know that nothing is impossible for Him and He has defeated the enemy. Knowing Him gives us power over fear.
His love is perfected in us, so we can have confidence about our eternal future. This frees us to love others and bless those we encounter.
We have the sound mind of Christ, which means that we share His values and desires. He stabilizes our thinking when we are faced with the potential for adversity, and leaves us peaceful.
We are secure despite all that's going on in the fallen world.
Talk to Him about the concerns, worries, and anxieties you feel.
Come what may, He will never leave you.
