Planted 11 Crabs last year on my SC property. All bare root. 6-8' tall. All but one produce a good amount of fruit last summer. Dolgo's mostly , forget the other two types right off hand. This past February I went down and put fertilizer spike for fruit trees on all of them. No fruit on a single of them this year and looking pretty rough when I went down yesterday to spray cleth on my clover plots. Lots of the leaves gone. Still alive but appear to be in rough shape. We had a 6 week stretch of no rain and high heat in June, then 5 weeks of massive rainfall. Now back to dry last 3 weeks. Anyone else have this issue? You think it was due to beetles or something possibly? I didnt spray the trees this year like i did last year either.
