We got drawn for the youth hunt in December, but after doing some searches on here, appears it would just be a good camping trip?
I hunted it years ago and got some pigs, but it appears the animals are limited except on the private land on North side.
Anybody got any information that would help me make a decision to go?
I love the place and would enjoy camping, but my son would have hopes for seeing some animals. I remember it being a hard hunt and I walked my tail off to get away from the crowds. If sharpshooters are baiting and shooting at night, I doubt few pigs will be seen by anyone.
Comments please, don't want my son to be disappointed. Plus it is a long trip for us, we live at the Alabama line west of Atlanta.
