Yup, that was the same look as I see on the Braves face every year. No one in this town wanted to talk salary amounts when Teddy was "buying" pennants now did they?

On a side note, Boston had the 2nd highest payroll in baseball, $$$ did to "buy" a pennant.

The fact is, the Bosox were and are the better team. They may not have the talent, nor the stars that the Yankees have, but they are a better team.
