Win was a bit underwhelming but it was a road win against an SEC team....






Did a hopped up Mississippi Roast today and made a pita sammich out of some of it.










Gonna stay swole up and watch the Vols pluck the Chickens.

I done been cookin & watchin football all day. Started with smoked backstrap french dip sammiches with some au ju …however that’s spelled


Then we drank a bunch of bourbon ….and ground up 25lbs deer & fat to stuff into sausages - hot seasoning with high temp bleu cheese
Then we drank more bourbon and I made some pizzas. Two pizzas divided into halves. One was half pepperoni, half deer sausage, the other was half white bbq chicken & half Buffalo chicken …that one had a cream cheese base on the crust and I will for sure be doing that again…turned out awesome After we ate the pizza we drank more bourbon and my wife made pumpkin cookies.

Now we’re fat and happy, and drinking bourbon …when I get good n ready I’m gonna stuff that sausage up into casings and vac seal it…prolly be a late night but it’s a good day and this is what Saturdays are for.

Someone gave us a Japanese pumpkin called a kabocha. I cooked it "Thai" style with coconut milk and chicken. It was good, kinda like a sweet potato. It made a bunch so I made a togo box for the neighbors with some garlic fried rice.
