Dawgs win it all this year.

I know what happened Saturday was not how a championship team is supposed to start a game, but their comeback was far more telling about the future. It took a monumentally horrible game by Beck early with turnover after turnover to give Alabama that 28-0 lead, but Bama didn't fumble the game away to the Dawgs, UGA just came back and took over. They knew what was coming and Beck still diced their defense up. That 4th down throw to Bell was placed perfectly. After Uk and now Bama, the team knows what to do if or when they get down again. They didn't panic like some of us fans did, they just went out and did their job and chipped away and hit the big play when needed. The lack of running game and offensive line that can't get push on running plays is the most concerning, but hopefully when Ratledge gets back that will work out some. I still don't understand why Frazier was not in the game from the get go, he is the kind of special at RB that the 17 year old is for Bama at WR. Milroe is the best athlete they will face at QB this year and that is the biggest weakness on defense, handling running QB's.

Nico in TN is no slouch. I’ve said it before, aside from it being another loss to the GOATs recruits, Kirby is probably glad it was an early loss like that, and will use this to motivate his club.

There's just so many twists and turns with a 12 team playoff, however if the dogs and bama played again next week, I think the dogs would be a 3 point favorite.

Provided Beck learns to not throw into double coverage.

I'm here watching college football live and McIlroy is claiming Bama is still king of college football. Excuse me, they lost to Michigan last year and UGA has won 2 NC's since Bama last won one. I heard 1981 every game for years, as the fact that UGA had not won a NC since 1981 meant other teams had better programs. Now that UGA beat Bama in 2021 and then stomped TCU in 2022, suddenly regular season matchups determine everything. I know Kirby is 1-6 vs Bama the last few years, but the last time they met for it all, the Dawgs came out on top. the Dawgs are not the best team right now but they have shown that even within games, they can adjust and outplay even teams as good as Bama by a huge margin. I want to see Ellis Robinson out there. During 7 on 7 tournmaments and during all star practices, he was matched up against Ryan Williams, Jeremiah Smith and absolutely stole their lunch money. He dominated them one on one out on and island by himself.

Greg McIlroy has DDS (Dawg Derangement syndrome) He said that Texas will be a double digit favorite vs UGA and should win comfortably. He has UGA at #9 in the playoff. He even put USC and Oregon in front of UGA.

Things may look a lot different end of day Oct 19th.

Exactly. CKS is no slouch either

Lots of people believe that. There's been a few teams that dominate for a couple of years and fizzle. Clemson had their run and won two championships as well. One team tends to stay on top or dang near it since 2008

Settle down before you hurt yourself :)
I have edited this post because i missed one very important number.

Dude, I wake up hurting myself. I don't think UGA is going to reel off 4 NC's in the next 5 years, but so many people have written the Dawgs off and what they have accomplished since 2020.

I’d like to give you some needed reality. Not many people or really any intelligent people have written UGA off at this point. They were just ranked #1 days ago, correct? Even us Tide fans in here realize how differently a rematch may go, and as for Texas, let’s just watch that one and see first. Your team may very well win it all this year. The same can be said for Bama, Texas, Ohio state, Ole Miss, and others. I don’t sense the disrespect that you do. What am I missing?

Why??? You were making the turn towards lucid thoughts with your original post. Now this?? What happened and why would a fan of the team post something like this???
Why are you so negative about this team and program??? I’m not looking to argue or debate you on this or trying to be mean.

I just don’t understand

I would never write Kirby’s program off, great coach. As soon as Saban retired the cheers went up across the DAWG nation. The torch is passed, Bama is done. Well, you got Bama without Saban and here we are. The process at Bama didn’t change terribly. The AD hired a winning coach to lead the Tide. I don’t have expectations of a championship year one. The point is there are several winning programs around. On a given day the team that’s a bit off, has a few injuries can fall victim to another top team. The talking heads saying another team is #1 is just a statement of the moment. The end of season will likely look very different.

:rofl:this intrigued me so I went and watched youtube videos of the only matchup I could find J Smith and him. Apparently your definition of stealing lunch money is different from mine. I have no doubt Robinson is a fine CB though.

This Dawgs fan isn't worried about Texas or the playoffs, I'm worried about Auburn. We're talking about 18 to 22 year old kids and if they feel sorry for themselves or don't take Auburn seriously, they will be embarrassed Saturday.

The 12 team playoff will take care of itself.
