Dax Dear God

bullethead

Of the hard cast variety
Yup. He had to enjoy writing. Sometimes I wondered how in the works he could come up with so much info to address a 5 word question.
Truthfully, I've always envisioned the authors of the various books of the Bible written by men of similar thought and style of Israel's. If a God were to inspire someone to tell a tale it would almost have to be a man of Izzy's caliber.

If we banned folks for writing style half the board would be gone. You get banned here for not following the rules, period. Y’all seem to have forgotten one everyone accepts on joining.

It's a strange phenomenon, if one speaks or writes in a certain way, whether that be full of jargon or mystic language, people will sometimes come to the conclusion that what they're saying is profound. One of the neatest things I learned from art school was how to make "art speak".

I think I would make a great Shaman.

Liberals and academics use this tactic all the time. They speak in circles and use words that are let say uncommon in daily use. Baffle with, well you know.

Shamanism (and versions of it) is pretty amazing. It developed in many completely different cultures all across the world that had no physical contact with each other.

I think its alot more pervasive in our lives than people realize. From poliltics to doctors to sales to mechanics etc.. the average person may not necessarily be educated on a particular subject so if you can make it sound impressive, thats good enough for them.

A subtle form of shamanism that we don't even notice - I never thought about it like that before.

If you aint never pondered this before then you have fer sure been a victim of it.
According to the definition of Shamanism I'm in the clear, since I'm very skeptical of anything supernatural. But it is pretty fascinating stuff to learn about.
