Day 2 of Snapper season

We went out deep Saturday. The roughest day I’ve ever had on the water. Only three of us went out Saturday. . We got our limit but I’m not sure it was worth it. I was beat up and didn’t get pictures. We also fished Thursday. We found fish but the sharks wouldn’t give us a chance. We only got two snapper and two gags in the boat whole.

Saturday was way rougher than it was forecasted to be. I don’t usually get sea sick but I was chumming them up by the end of the day.

Went out Wednesday night from Riviera beach before the rain and weather hit.
It was on fire for a while and then the sharks would show and we'd have to move.
You better reel fast if you want to deck more than just a fish's head!

We had shark issues over live bottom. They didn’t seem to bother us on wrecks. It seemed they only took the big fish and let the small ones go. Lost a lot of tackle this week

Yep, that's exactly how it was for us. We also had a visit or two from flipper.

We had one more snapper to get our limit Saturday then two dolphin moved in. Shut the bite right down. At least sharks eat what they grab. The dolphins just like to play with it and get it all mangled up.
