Hard to say. Sometimes it's fairly good this time of year, sometimes you couldn't catch a fish with a stick of dynamite, a minner seine, and an electroshocking rig. :)

You'll just have to try it and see. Bring your fuzzy drawers. At least no bitter cold teens and single digits in the forecast for the next little while. Lows in the 20s and 30s, highs in the upper 30s to mid 50s. Some rain and maybe a little snow.

Thank you for the advice. I fished last December several times and tough
fishing was my experience. I will switch up my fly selections and give it
a go:))

You can usually catch a few deep and slow on nymphs and streamers. Sometimes they’ll hit small dries at midday.

Whatever advice you get from NCHB follow. He by far is the best I've ever encountered, bar none. His posts are beyond remarkable. If I were a young man I would head his way for a trip, if he would entertain the thought, but I could never keep up with him at this time in life with my give out legs. Sad, but at least I can vicariously enjoy his journeys on his posts I indicated are beyond excellent.
