I'm not much on reading books. My attention span ain't good and I always can find something I need to do, but I heard an interview with the guy that wrote this one and decided to download on the phone to read a little at a time. I never heard much about what today folks consider the "evil" Crusaders and don't believe half of what I would read anyway. If you are a reader and like stuff based on history, you may want to try this one.
The chapters cover eight men and a lot of it is is written using accounts of events from people in that day and also has descriptions of them and battles by the Muslim enemies. Some went on crusades and others were defending Europe. It is amazing how many people were enslaved and hauled off during those hundreds of years.
