I haven’t hunted or trialed on Di Lane for about 5 years, but the one time I hunted it, we left the club house and went straight out the back. We hit the edges of the dark timber and did the counter clockwise loop back to the clubhouse. We hunted the edges of the dark timber, and moved 7 coveys. If I remember correctly, the next closest group moved 3 that day.
Good advice above. Honestly, one spot is about as good as the next especially right now. The cover is in pretty good shape. I think the key to hunting Di-Lane is having good weather and enough dog power to make it through the day especially on a hot day.
