Do many of you remember the Polio scare of the 50's

Army brat here, born in US Army hospital in Heidelberg, Germany. Got every shot known to man! More through elementary school. Never got a scar from the smallpox vaccine so got that every year when the doctor came to examine the kids in school, thought I had never got the shot. Still no scar on my left shoulder.

Both brothers had the scar and I wanted one.

My girlfriend had two scars so I married her so I could have one too.
