Has anyone tried shearing the hair off small pigs prior to cooking the whole pig. I don't want to scald the pig and scrape it. That has not worked out for me. I also don't want to skin the pig. The skin holds in the juices while cooking. I'm talking about 20 lb piglets.

It'll probably work if you can stand the smell of burning hair.

Razor. Shave them

Boil hot water it will remove all the hair out and you will have nice and clean skin.

Boiling hot water will set the hair and it will never come out. You use the water when it just about starts to roll. It takes an educated eye. The torch works pretty good.
