Did any of you even read Howards link ?? If you did , Did you miss the part about his being a Republican a Reagan Republican at that ?? How about his long family history of Military service to this country ?? either you're in bitter denial or you're better suited to the cartoon network
This from a man who uses Jon Stewart quotes in his sig line.:crazy::huh:

Ray, even you could claim to be a Reagan Republican, we'd still realize from your words that you are a Clinton Socialist.

Or have switched over to become a Sheehanite?

I did not miss that part, but based on his responses to questions in the interview, I find his profession of being a Republican to be "short" on the commitment side of things, not to mention on the belief set.

In my opinion, his religious concerns stem from the fact he is Jewish and is somewhat paranoid of being proselytized into the Christian faith, and that is OK by me. If you are happy with your faith, have no desire or intention to change and profess that fact, even the most hard core evangelist should know to move on.

The fact he is in the military, which is highly "conformist" by definition might mean his career could be "short sheeted" by some small minded CO because of his faith, but I doubt such is the case. The JAG office loves to get hold of stuff like this. Look at the zeal with which they go after Christian combat soldiers for "illegal killings" (in a war zone of all places).

It stands to reason the U.S. Armed Forces are made up predominantly of Christians, since they reflect the population of this country as a whole. In that regard it is doubtful Christians, both Roman Catholic and Protestant, get "hit on" by the evangelicals any less than the Jews.

Anything is possible, but this one sounds an awfully lot like "The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf".

Also, there is no such thing as "speeding the process of armagedon so all can be rewarded by the coming of Jesus". Only God knows when that will be and no man or group of men can make it happen any sooner than God wants it to happen.

The whole thing sounds a little paranoid delusional to me.

Why not start using Bill Maher and Rosie O’Donnell as a “reliable” source of objective information.
