Dove - Pine Log Mountain

I was awarded the Pine Log Mountain Dove hunt on Sept. 5th. Does anyone know anything about the Dove hunting spots in Pine Log Mtn? Or where I can get more information about hunting Dove on opening day there? I hunted Pine Log Mountain during archery season many years ago, before leaving the state. We just moved back to Georgia and I am not as familiar with the property anymore.

Thanks for any guidance here. I am hoping for a successful opening day to the hunting season.

Yes its hit or miss lower field is best not that much room once you get 100 other guns there

I will be at the Log tomorrow as well. First time on the quota dove hunt for myself.

How was the shoot fellas?

Shot a few times. Didn't hit nothing. Usually don't lol. There was a guy in the lower field(where it sounded like there was more action) and everytime he shot the end report on his shot reminded me of a yipping dog. I was wondering if it was what he shooting or just the distance from the fields. Good time though. Got hot. I left about three with my tail between my legs.

Before it was a quota we went there one time and slayed them. It was a barrel burner. Crazy crowded though. I like the front field best.
