Doves in Blairsville?

Family has some property in Blairsville, GA in North Georgia Mountains. It seems perfect for doves with multiple 10+ acres fields that are farmed with corn etc, yet I have yet to see the first dove? Are they just sparsely populated up in that area? Looking for some input

Is the corn free standing? Doves like cultivated fields and dirt

I would imagine it’s because it hasn’t been harvested. There are birds up there too.
