I sure don't post as much as I used to, but thought I'd share one I worked up this evening.

I was out a couple of weeks ago, and had a little time on my hands while I waited on the crew that I was with to finish up what they had to do, and there were dragonflies all around us, so I got a camera out of the truck and took a few pictures.

Here's a female eastern amberwing on a bahia grass seedhead.

Nikon D300s, Nikkor 70-200 @ 200 mm, f/9, 1/250th second, ISO 320, handheld while laying prone.
