Got up and lit the Akorn about 3am and threw a big brisket on, then went back to bed. Woke up at 545, and she was holding steady at 275. Love the Akorn.

Good Morning to all of you Drivelers.

I haven't decided just what I am going to do today. I've been WIDE awake since I received an AMBER ALERT at 4:05 AM this morning that ONLY gave a location of "near I-20". Hello, there is 201 miles of I-20 across GEORGIA !!!. How about being just a little more specific.

Today is the first day that I can ever remember that there are NO OBITUARY LISTINGS on the front page OR ANY OBITUARY LISTINGS ANYWHERE IN THE NEWSPAPER !!!! MAYBE THE UNDERTAKERS ARE ON STRIKE OR SOMETHING!!! What the heck, I am going to get a shower and ride up to the country and check on things.

I hope that all of you will have a safe and enjoyable day today.

Why did ya'll let me sleep so late?
We had the girls for 7 days, no sleep and worked all week.
I guess I needed it.

I did pick up 2 nice t bones at Ingles yesterday , for a fair price.

I'm off all next week , so I can get caught up with sleep, berry pickers, hearing about all you guys snap, crackle popping when you wake up and slaughter weeds and such.
if I can hear over the sounds of my snap crackle, popping.

Still cloudy here but you can work up a sweat in no time cutting up down mountain laurel and dragging brush.
