Take mater whole, cut up with your pocketknife when it’s time. Wipe the knife blade on your pants leg. Wouldn’t want the blade to discolor from the acid.

Got 2.5” of rain yesterday afternoon into pretty late last night. Good soaking rain.

Back then I had 15 minute to get to my truck, eat lunch, and be back swing'n a hammer. Best to just have it ready to eat.

That was a good soaking in rain I got. Heavy at times but not long duration, it would settle back down.

What them folks in Summerville got was bad (not as bad as what we got in 2009, but bad none the less) I fret for those down river from them... water is heavy, patient, and always wins.
