hunted the hill this morning. there were lots of hunters and few ducks. there were lots of ruddies but they have become rather educated and stayed out over the big water. i remember 4 or 5 years ago i would hunt for ducks out there and have that whole lake to myself. things have changed. i do not think all the hunters are the reason for the low numbers though. i still think it is the lack of hydrilla this year and the weather probably isn't helping either. i'll be fishing for striper next weekend!
