Early Feb. Lanier report w/pics

For me, February is usually a month of minimal fishing as the fish slow down a bit due to the colder water temps but I'm still able to fish at least 3-4 days a week. Up until last week I was able to do pretty well with a mix of deep fish and shallow fish but for some reason, (I suspect lake levels dropping) the fish have pulled back from the shallows a bit. Most of my fish this week have been pulled from the deep ditches with small swimbaits and spoons. I've been spending a few hours a day, each day looking for the staging bass but it's still a little early for that bite to get going. Here's a few pictures of memorable fish from some of my trips out this month.

Nice report Jim. Was out some Saturday in bald ridge and couldn’t find any pattern. One here and one there on diff presentations and lures. Ended the day with 6. Hope to be back soon for round 2! Love the reports!
