While back home, I did a little exploring of some Areas I had never been to.
This WMA being one of them. Located on Blackwater/East bay, it was just absolutely stunning. Went to scout out potential fishing opportunities with the kayak. Never got the kayak in the water due to the no-see-em’s and some red fly that was eating my wife and I alive, but can’t wait to go back and explore more when home again.
They have free camping opportunities here-just have to register/reserve online, as well as hikes through Eglin AFB property(permits required).
